Sample Wedding Invitation Wording
It is etiquette for the invitation to be addressed from the people paying for the event. Traditionally this would be the brides parents, but thesedays it can be from the couple themselves, or even a joint invitation from both sets of parents. The invitation can say pretty much whatever you want but needs to include the couples names, venue, times and dates and if not obvious, the dress code. If there isn't going to be a separate RSVP card, then the RSVP date and contact details should be included.
Below are a few examples of sample wording if you aren't sure what to say. It's entirely up to you how formal and traditional you make your wording - its your big day! Just remember that the invitations set the tone for the event and make sure that you get all of the necessary information in there.
