Cheese Wedding Cake

18 May 2017 11:02:29 BST

Everyone likes a nibble of cheese and there are hundreds of types of cheese from various countries being produced. Their styles, textures and flavors depend on the origin of the milk, whether they have been pasteurized, the butterfat content, the bacteria and mold, the processing, and aging. Herbs, spices, or wood smoke may be used as flavoring agents.

Craft Beer

10 May 2017 13:18:48 BST

Love is Brewing - Beer is slowly becoming bigger in Britain thanks to the importing of the "craft" brewing movement from the united states a few years ago. Breweries are springing up across the country and experimenting with styles and methods of brewing that haven't been available for decades — sometimes even longer. We love to try new drinks and thanks to this movement it is now possible.

Every Wedding seating plan that I create starts from a wonderful memory(apart from the bespoke orders of course). My father’s family are from Poland and one of my favourite holiday destinations is Zakopane in Southern Poland. We have been going to Zakopane since I was very young (always in the winter) and this is where I discovered my love for skiing and snowboarding! A theme that I used for my own wedding.

Today I am in my element! I will be describing two hotels that I have had the pleasure of working at and one wedding venue where my husband and I tied the knot. Let’s start at the start shall we...

The Stourport Manor Hotel

I started working as a receptionist at this hotel about 14 years ago. They held many beautiful weddings and this is where my interest in the wedding world began.

The Gin Guide Awards 2017 is nearly upon us! Finally we can decide who the winner of the People's Choice Award will be. The finalists have been selected based on the gins that have had the most views on The fantastic Gin Guide website. I don't know about you but I am a little bit excited and of course have my own favourite! The winner will be announced at the end of Janurary, so not too much longer to go!

What is Wedding Etiquette?

10 January 2015 15:14:00 GMT

Traditionally the bride's family paid for their daughter’s wedding as they were gaining a son from the union. These days as the average cost of a wedding is £10,000 it’s a bit much for the bride's family to foot the entire bill.
